After a long, hard
day of rehearsals, ACC offers these activities
to unwind.
MAIL CALL
Mail Call is the daily afternoon assembly.
It is held immediately after choir rehearsals. Campers get information
for the upcoming afternoon and evening. The best way to describe
Mail Call is a mix of Saturday Night Live, Game Show, Musical Extravaganza!
(Maybe not that extreme)Any camper mail recieved is given to the campers
during this time via air mail.
FREE TIME
The period between Mail Call and the Evening
Activities is called Free Time. Campers are given this time to eat
dinner, hang out in the dorm lobbies and within the camp boundry lines.
Free Time varies with the Evening Activity. Campers will be given
a time to meet back at their respective dorms to prepare for the Evening
Activities.
ACC EVENING ACTIVITIES
TALENT SHOWCASE
An evening to showcase the talents of
the campers. Due to the amount of talent at ACC, tryouts will be
held to determine which acts make the show.
GAME NIGHT
One camp counselor describes Game Night
like this. "We divided into teams. We give you silly names
and we play silly games."
The camp population are divided into teams
at the beginning of camp. Teams compete during the week for bragging
rights. Teams will meet on the field in contests that will test body
and mind. Games change year to year. Games played previous
years include Dodgeball, Red light - Green light, Ultimate Frisbee and
much, much more.
THEME DANCE / LAST CHANCE DANCE
This is the only dance of ACC.
For all those who attend you are encouraged to dress for the occasion (not
mandatory or required.) Music, dancing, fun and laughter are to be
had by all. Have fun with a couple hundred of your closest friends.
All good things must come to an end. One last time to dance, laugh,
and share the moments with your friends.
(activities subject to change)
2010 Scheduled Evening Activites
Campers who wish to attend this event
will pay for their ticket at registration, on Monday, July 12. To
reserve your spot, payment must be made at this time. Late payments
will not be accepted. Checks should be made payable to ACC Choir
Camp and should be combined with their final payment. Attached permission
form should be turned in at registration along with $25 fee.
THIS IS AN OPTIONAL ACTIVITY.
Campers do not have to participate in this event. Campers who choose
not to go to Wild River Country will attend ACC Movie Night on campus at
UCA with select ACC counselors and staff.
Prepare for the CAMPFIRE Talent Night!
Watch as your fellow campers perform on stage as we showcase the many talents
this camp has to offer!
*Auditions for the Talent Show will
be held on Tuesday evening. Campers must limit their tryout performance
to 1-2 minutes. Students will be allowed to participate in only one
act during the show in order to give as many students as possible a chance
to perform. Start practicing now!!!
The Great Outdoors Game Night - The 7th
Annual ACC GAMES! The camp population is divided into teams at the
beginning of camp. Teams compete during the week for braggin’ rights.
Teams will meet on the field in contests that will test body and mind.

We have moved the THEME DANCE to the last night of camp! What do
you wear? CAMOFLAUGE! It is a dance to be UNSEEN at!
